Maya Larripa Returns to Bayside Surf Team for 2024 Season

Puerto Escondido, Oaxaca – January 31, 2024 – Bayside Real Estate proudly announces the re-signing of Maya Larripa, the 21-year-old pro surfer from Puerto Escondido. Her surfing odyssey began at the age of 6, and by 10, she was already making waves in competitions. Having traveled extensively to countries like Argentina, El Salvador, Costa Rica, Nicaragua, Guatemala, and the U.S., Larripa has left her mark on the global surfing scene.

Maya’s prowess on the circuit is attributed to her exceptional physical condition and impeccable technique. Throughout her professional career, she has conquered challenges in renowned competitions such as the Surf Open League, WSA (Western Surf Association), the Argentinian circuit (including the Junior Circuit), the Mexican Open, and various state and local events, including the Bocana Open in Huatulco.

A recipient of gold medals in competitions organized by the Mexican Surfing Federation, Maya Larripa is celebrated for her achievements both on national and international fronts.

The recent celebration at Casa Zee in Costa Cumana marked Maya Larripa’s official return to the Bayside Surf Team and the larger Bayside Family. Joined by close family and friends of the surf community, Brent May extended a warm welcome to Larripa, solidifying her place in the team.

Maya, passionate about sharing her love for surfing, also conducts women’s surf camps.

The gathering took place at Casa Zee, an exquisite oceanfront villa featuring a pool, a spacious sun deck, and accommodation for up to 20 guests. Nestled just steps away from the beach, Casa Zee is under the expert management of Bayside Vacations, adding an extra touch of luxury to the signing event.

Larripa is set to join forces with Ramirez, Sebastian Williams, and Nesher Diaz on the Bayside Surf Team for the 2024 season.
